Stage 2 Overview
Stage 2
The two-week hackathon period begins immediately following the Stage 1 jam window, starting on 27 January. During these two weeks, GGJ will host mentor office hours, offer additional workshops and expand the educational resource library. Participants from Stage 1 will receive an email with the sessions scheduled for Stage 2 by 28 January. This schedule will also be posted on the Ctrl+Alt+Disinfo website.
During the two-week hackathon, 27 January – 9 February 2025, teams should expand upon or rework their Stage 1 game. Note: Jammers who did not participate in Stage 1 are still eligible to participate in Stage 2. For global jammers, Stage 2 will not be a competitive stage, but teams that submit games will receive feedback on their games to help strengthen their Stage 3 submission.
Teams should upload their two-week game to the Global Game Jam Portal no later than 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time (UTC-8) on 9 February.
All registered teams were sent additional instructions on submitting their Stage 2 build and around Stage 3 in early February. All information will also be posted on the unitedwithukraine.games and easily accessible through the homepage.
